Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant serving is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while staying organized.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation practices.
- Good math skills for handling payments accurately.
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn about food preparation is appreciated.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
