Westgate Lifestyle is a residential care home for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home can accommodate up to 4 young people from age 8-18 years old.
NOT PERSONAL CARE ( NO LIFTING, NO BATHING, NO MEDICAL PROCEDURES NO NURSING ETC)

We are looking for friendly, caring and dedicated members of staff to join our team, you must have experience working directly with young people and challenging behaviours.
The role requires resilience and a dedication to safeguarding, making sure the young people are safe through the night and day. This position will require you to understand the young person care plans, updating logs, create and maintain records and reports.
You will also be required to liaise with external agencies, including the police and social work teams, in the event of any incidents of missing young people. You will be responsible for ensuring the shift runs smoothly and relevant tasks are completed in a timely manner.
There is also a requirement to carry out various health and safety checks and few home domestic chores.
We provide on-going training and regular staff meetings, we are a friendly team and provide a homely enviroment.
Roles available are 2-4 nights or 3- 5 days per week on a permanent employed basis;
Day shifts are 10.00hrs to 1800hrs
Night shifts are 1800hrs and 10.00hrs ( sleep from 23.30 - 07.00hrs)
A sleep in rate is applied in addition to the hourly rate for this role. Private sleep in facilities are available for staff on shift.
