Service Co-ordinator
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Co-ordinator to support the efficient delivery of field service operations across the UK. This role is responsible for coordinating engineer schedules, managing customer service requests, maintaining service records and ensuring excellent communication between customers, engineers and internal departments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring service activities are delivered efficiently, customers receive a high standard of support and operational targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Service Planning & Scheduling
- Schedule preventative maintenance visits, inspections, commissioning activities and reactive call-outs
- Coordinate engineer diaries to maximise productivity and service delivery
- Manage planned maintenance schedules and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Arrange customer appointments and site access requirements
- Monitor outstanding service activities and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
Customer Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for service-related enquiries
- Provide customers with updates regarding engineer attendance and work progress
- Respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate teams where required
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Administration & Reporting
- Process service documentation, reports and customer correspondence
- Maintain accurate records within service management and CRM systems
- Support the preparation of quotations for remedial works and service agreements
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders and contract administration
- Produce service performance reports and management information
Operational Support
- Liaise with engineering, sales and operations teams to support service delivery
- Coordinate equipment, materials and logistics for field engineers
- Monitor service KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the effective delivery of customer service agreements and project activities
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a Service Co-ordinator, Service Administrator, Scheduler or similar role
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
- Experience coordinating field-based engineers or technical service teams
- Knowledge of service management, CRM or scheduling systems
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, facilities management or technical services sectors
- Understanding of maintenance contracts and planned service programmes

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
