Job Overview
Experienced carpenter - on the books or potentially self employed. Rates of pay negotiable.
Must be fully competent in first and second fix.
Also happy to do all types of general building works.
Company van, pension and paid holiday included provided if on the books.
Duties
- Utilize carpentry skills for heavy lifting and handling large materials safely on-site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of all building elements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of joinery techniques for precise fitting and finishing work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work completed is essential
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites and tool usage
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for accurate measurements and installations
