Apave are looking for an Eddy Current Tube Inspector to join our UK team. We have long-term positions available based from any of our UK offices dependant on the candidates location.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out Eddy Current Tube Inspection on both new and in service tube bundles.
- Review and analyse tube data captured so that it can be issued as a report.
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- Management of ET tube inspection stock and equipment at our Stockton-on-Tees branch.
- Reviewing scope of works and ensuring stock held can undertake the task.
- Working as part of the NDT team when tube inspection work is not required.
- Flexible approach to working patterns. Must be comfortable with travel and working away.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- PCN Level 2 Eddy Current Tubes
- In service analysis of tubes
- Tubepro and Magnifi software familiarity
- Confined Space Awareness
- Site Safety Passport
Desirable
- Further PCN Level 2 Qualifications
- Remote Field Testing (RFT) Experience
- Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS) Experience
