Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the cafe team to ensure efficient food preparation, serving, and overall customer service.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including baking, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and provide coaching to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold quality standards across all food and beverage offerings.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Daily cash and card reconcilliation
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain excellent guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food service, cooking, and food safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Familiarity with serving techniques, hospitality standards, and barista experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in restaurant or cafe environments that require multitasking under pressure.
- Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and sanitation practices.
