You will be central to supporting our protective nurturing environment by ensuring all children receive healthy and diverse snacks. Your main duties will include:
- Nutritional Menu Design: Designing and delivering a varied and nutritious snack menu while strictly meeting all dietary requirements.
- Kitchen Management: Effectively managing stock levels for foods, cleaning materials, and disposables.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensuring all health and safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures are meticulously followed.
- Administrative Tasks: Managing essential kitchen administration, including completing employment and health and safety paperwork, and monitoring kitchen performance.
- Environment Upkeep: Overseeing the setting up and clearing away of eating areas, and carrying out daily and weekly cleaning effectively.
- Quality Control: Working collaboratively with settings Managers and welcoming feedback to maintain our high standards.
As well as having a Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene qualification and experience of working in a similar catering environment, you’ll also be full of enthusiasm and well organised.
