Job Summary:
Join VivoLuxe Home Support as a founding Home & Family Support Companion. We reject the rushed, "box-ticking" corporate care model. This position offers flexible part-time hours to accommodate your lifestyle while delivering meaningful, non-medical companionship and household organisation.
Duties:
- Companionship & Befriending: Providing unhurried emotional support, meaningful conversation, and accompanied community outings or social visits.
- Home Support & Senior Life Admin: Assisting clients with managing incoming physical mail, organising household files, and setting up automated online utility or grocery systems.
- Postnatal Sanctuary Support: Helping exhausted new mothers with infant soothing so mum can rest, batch cooking healthy family meals, and nursery tidying.
- Family Respite: Providing temporary "sitting" and companion support to give family carers an absolute, well-deserved break.
- Hospital-to-Home Recovery: Delivering non-medical settling-in support following hospital discharge (stocking the fridge with groceries, preparing a warm meal, and home safety checks).
- Integrated Housekeeping: Handling light household duties such as laundry management, ironing, changing bed linens, and light kitchen tidying as part of a holistic well-being visit.
(Please Note: This is a strictly non-medical, non-regulated companion and lifestyle service. This role does NOT involve personal hygiene care, bathing, dressing, hoisting, or medication administration.)
Experience:
- Absolute empathy, patience, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in childcare, eldercare, customer service, or community volunteering is highly desirable.
- Must hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence and have daily access to your own reliable vehicle for traveling to clients in Allestree, Mickleover, and Littleover.
- Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS background check (fully funded by the company).
- Must have valid, verifiable Right to Work in the UK.
- Must be able to provide two satisfactory professional references (including your most recent employer) to verify your reliability and character.
Paid Travel Support: 30p per mile allowance paid for all travel between client homes to support your fuel costs.
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
