Edge Staffing are recruiting an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to support a major gas contract based out of Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a key contract so we're looking for reliable, professional drivers with the right experience and a strong commitment to safety.
The Role
- Class 1 ADR driving pulling road barrels
- Working on a major gas distribution contract
- Shifts between 8-12-hour shifts
- Days and Tramping available
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Valid ADR licence appropriate for the work
- At least 2 years' Class 1 driving experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Excellent safety awareness and a professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successful applicants will be required to:
- Pass a driving assessment (road test)
- Complete familiarisation training
- Provide a valid driving licence with the appropriate entitlements
- Due to the nature of the contract, successful applicants will be required to pass a DBS check, drug & alcohol screening, competency assessment and additional compliance checks.
This is ongoing support work. Drivers will initially work on a regular basis, with opportunities throughout the year to cover:
- Holiday leave
- Increased seasonal and operational volumes
