Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team in the Baby Room, working between 30 to 40 hours per week. This vital role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest children, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and attentive care. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key part in fostering positive early childhood experiences, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with warmth and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education tailored to children aged from birth to around 18 months, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning and parent communication
- Foster strong relationships with children, encouraging independence and confidence through positive interactions
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment that complies with health and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with parents or guardians about their child's development, routines, and any concerns that arise
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, ideally within early childhood education environments
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare standards, health & safety regulations, and best practices for early years education
- Childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent are preferred
- Ability to work flexibly across scheduled hours within the Baby Room setting
- A valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation or home visits

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
