This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who loves creating educational resources, design and technology and would like to use their teaching expertise in a creative environment rather than in a traditional classroom role.
You will help us create and develop high-quality educational resources for Nursery, Reception and KS1, using your knowledge of children's learning and development alongside your creative and digital skills.
What you'll be doing
- Creating engaging and high-quality Early Years and KS1 educational resources.
- Developing new ideas for worksheets, activity packs, planning, displays, presentations and other teaching materials.
- Designing resources using Canva.
- Creating and editing graphics.
- Creating professional documents and resources using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Reviewing and improving existing Early Years Staffroom resources.
- Ensuring resources are educationally accurate, age appropriate and visually appealing.
- Supporting the development of new resource collections and themed products.
- Creating presentations and training materials for teachers and early years practitioners.
- Helping with graphics and creative content for our website and social media when required.
- Keeping up to date with EYFS and KS1 curriculum developments and educational guidance.
- Working independently to agreed deadlines and managing multiple creative projects.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Early Years and/or KS1 Teacher.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and/or KS1 curriculum.
- Has a genuine passion for creating educational resources.
- Is confident using Canva and has a strong eye for design.
- Has good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Has experience using Adobe Photoshop or able to learn.
- Has excellent written English and a strong attention to detail.
- Is creative, organised and able to work independently.
- Can turn an idea into a professional, engaging and practical educational resource.
- Enjoys using technology and is happy to learn new tools and software.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a small, friendly and creative team.

Hours & pay
The role is 8 hours per week, term time only, for 38 weeks of the year, at £16 per hour.
This equates to:
£16 × 304 = £4,864 basic pay
Plus holiday pay ≈ £5,451/year, or around £454/month averaged over 12 months.
The role is office-based in Launton in Oxfordshire and hours will be over 1/2 days, days are flexible.
