As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a Sales & Operations Planner to join their team. You will work closely with Commercial, Production, Procurement, Technical and Finance teams to drive effective planning, optimise inventory and ensure the reliable delivery of products to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating customer demand into achievable production and supply plans.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, analysing sales trends, customer requirements and market intelligence to support business planning.
- Balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity, identifying risks, constraints and opportunities to maximise operational performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability, working closely with Procurement to ensure continuity of supply and minimise supply chain risks.
- Build strong relationships across Commercial, Production, Technical and Finance teams, acting as the key planning link between departments.
- Produce planning reports, dashboards and KPI analysis, using data to provide insights, support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Bring proven experience in S&OP, demand planning or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment, alongside strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capability and ERP/MRP system knowledge.
Skills Required
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A proactive, data-driven approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
