About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites.
This role requires someone who is capable of working independently, managing their own workload, and delivering a high standard of service to our customers.
Occasional working away from home will be required, with overnight stays as necessary to support projects and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing on air conditioning equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on various AC systems including split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and package units.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations.
- Attend customer sites and provide professional technical support.
- Identify and recommend remedial works where required.
- Work independently and efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with the office team.
RequirementsEssential
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
- F-Gas Certification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work under your own initiative.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
Desirable
- Experience working on leading manufacturers' equipment.
- Relevant HVAC qualifications.
- Knowledge of commercial ventilation systems.
- IPAF and PASMA certifications (advantageous but not essential).
