Deputy Manager – Full-Time
We are a forward-thinking care provider committed to delivering exceptional standards of care and operational excellence. We are now seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading our dedicated team and ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring smooth delivery of care and services
- Lead on compliance, audits, and inspection readiness, maintaining accurate documentation and governance frameworks
- Supervise and mentor staff, conduct interviews, and support HR investigations with fairness and clarity
- Oversee incident reporting, care documentation reviews, and ensure alignment with observed practice
- Identify training gaps and embed best practice across teams
- Act as a point of escalation for staff concerns, resident wellbeing, and operational challenges
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior care or operational management role
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Methodical approach to documentation, risk management, and staff accountability
- Comfortable with technical systems and troubleshooting operational issues
- Calm, pragmatic, and grounded in resident safety and staff development
