We are looking to recruit for the role of Quality Assurance / Health and Safety Manager.
The role consists of making sure our final packaging product meets the company's high-quality standards by adhering to stringent internal and external policies. Ensuring industry specific legislation is met, along with detailed knowledge of our customer’s market requirements. We are heavily involved with food and healthcare related industries with regards to tour cardboard based packaging products. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the company adhering to reliability, performance and customer expectation. Inspection of products is part of the job with the obligation to report and document findings.
Promoting a safe working environment throughout our company, whilst ensuring productivity and efficiency is maintained. You'll also ensure that employees comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
The ideal candidate would have knowledge of the packaging industry, where food and healthcare standards are in force. Knowledge of cardboard based packaging would be extremely beneficial. Knowledge of industry certification bodies such as BRCGS, PEFC and FSC would offer a significant advantage.
The role is a permanent position and involves working in a hybrid environment between our onsite office and onsite production facility.
