We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and professional On-the-Day Wedding Coordinator to join our team and ensure each wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish.
You will be working as part of a team of experienced Wedding Coordinators, providing flexibility for both the venue and our team members. This role is ideal for someone seeking regular weekend work, with opportunities to coordinate between one and three weddings per month, primarily on Saturdays throughout the wedding season. Shifts are allocated in advance, allowing you to choose weekends that fit around your existing commitments where possible
The Role
As the On-the-Day Wedding Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for couples, suppliers and guests throughout the wedding day. You will oversee all aspects of the event, ensuring timelines are followed, suppliers are coordinated and any issues are resolved discreetly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet the couples at the venue the day before their wedding to go over final details and walk them through their wedding day.
- Meet and greet suppliers and guests on the wedding day.
- Coordinate supplier arrivals, set-up and venue preparations.
- Manage the wedding day timeline and ensure events run to schedule.
- Liaise with photographers, entertainers, caterers and other suppliers.
- Coordinate the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
- Handle any unexpected issues calmly and professionally.
- Ensure the venue is presented to the highest standard throughout the event.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a memorable experience for every couple.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience coordinating weddings or events.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Have outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Remain calm under pressure and be confident making decisions.
- Be flexible and available to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Have a genuine passion for weddings and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport (preferred).
