Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily routines.
- Support clients in engaging with community activities and social outings
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Use IT tools to document progress, update records, and manage schedules
- Drive clients safely to appointments or activities
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence and respects client preferences
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with experience in safe driving practices
- Experience of working with learning disabilities
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and demonstrate patience and empathy
