About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic team, based at the Chichester campus. The Postholder will contribute to the delivery of the BA (Hons) Acting and BA (Hons) Drama, Theatre & Directing at level 4 across their ‘Projects’ modules. In these classes students work in small ensemble companies to devise original theatre pieces across a range of genres. There are 3 projects across the year; Storytelling and Physical Theatre in Semester 1 and Text (Adaptation) in Semester 2.
About you
The successful candidate will have a strong background and experience in contemporary devised performance practices and experience in specific pedagogical approaches suited to devised practice and the creation of original work.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching. Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
