Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. We are a small family run dental practice providing high quality dental treatment with a number of dental specialities available in house. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient practice management, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills to contribute to a well-established dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the dental team, including receptionists and dental nurses, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee daily practice operations to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience
- Coordinate human resources activities such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff scheduling with the help of HR company used externally
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of infection control
- Implement policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to maintain equipment and stock levels
- Monitor practice performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments
- Previous dental practice management experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,750.75 per year
