Job Summary
The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting Beam Group’s Account Managers in the management, development, and growth of key national retail accounts. The position would suit an ambitious individual looking to build their career in account management and sales, working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal applicant will possess excellent organisational, communication, and technical skills, and have a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
Duties
- Assist the designated Account Managers with the day-to-day management of retail accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support in the preparation and delivery of presentations, proposals, forecasting, and business reviews.
- Monitor account performance, sales data, and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate the implementation of promotional activities and merchandising plans (online and instore) across retail accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, terms and pricing agreements.
- Liaise with internal departments (Brand Managers, Sales Order Processing, Logistics, Marketing, Warehouse) to ensure seamless service delivery to retailers.
- Resolve any issues or queries raised by retail accounts promptly and professionally.
- Support the planning and execution of national product launches and retail campaigns.
- Attend meetings with retail clients alongside the Account Manager (where relevant) and follow up on agreed actions.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives for assigned retail accounts.
- Manage sales out allowances and internal accruals, ensuring all relevant processes and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities; adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Numerate and analytical, with proficiency in interpreting sales data and market information.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the retail sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Reporting Line
The Account Executive will report directly to the Retail Channel Manager but will support designated Account Managers and Retailers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
