Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drain Jetting Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialised equipment to clear blocked drains and maintain drainage systems. Responsibilities
- Operate drain jetting machinery to effectively clear blockages and maintain drainage systems.
- Conduct inspections of drainage infrastructure to identify faults or potential issues.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of drainage pipes and related infrastructure.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any safety concerns or defects.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all operations to minimise risks.
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up following completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience with high pressure water jetting is highly desirable.
- Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of drainage systems or civil engineering works.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid UK driving licence preferred due to daily site travel requirements.
- Commitment to health and safety standards at all times.
