Shop Manager (Formby)
£13.49 per hour, 30 hours per week (4 days worked between Monday - Saturday)
We are looking for a Shop Manager to oversee the day to day running of our established Formby Charity shop within the St. Joseph’s Hospice network of charity shops covering the greater Merseyside area.
In summary, the role will include:
- To ensure the smooth running of the shop.
- To be responsible for all aspects of the charity shop, including staff, volunteers, customer service, stock management, financial records, administration, compliance with current legislation and promoting the work of St Joseph’s Hospice.
- Work to budgeted sales targets and will be expected to control shop expenditure.
- To maximise their sustainable profitability through applying charity retail best practice.
- To support the Retail Manager in developing and implementing a retail strategy.
- To actively recruit, train and maintain an enthusiastic and industry leading team of volunteers.
