Role:
sMRT is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to provide expert technical support to customers and distributors while driving sales growth. You’ll deliver product demonstrations, training and technical guidance, support bids and tenders, and build strong long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver product demonstrations, training and technical presentations.
- Provide expert guidance on product selection, installation, operation and servicing.
- Support customer trials, roll-outs and implementation activities.
- Maintain expert knowledge of current and historical MRT products.
- Support the sales team in identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Lead the technical response to bids and tenders.
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Respond to customer and service enquiries.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline through Salesforce.
- Produce sales, service and technical reports.
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to understand and explain products clearly.
- Experience in technical sales, sales support, engineering or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong customer relationship and commercial skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and support business development.
- Strong problem-solving and innovative approach.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident working with customers, distributors and internal teams.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Relevant technical, engineering or sales qualification/experience.
