Greenfields Nursery are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Practitioner – Early Years SENCO to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children to achieve their full potential while helping lead and develop our SEND provision, systems and support processes within the nursery.

Role: Lead Practitioner – Early Years SENCO
3 Days Per Week
Term Time Only
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and develop the nursery SEND provision and support systems
- Support children with additional needs through inclusive practice
- Work closely with practitioners, parents and outside agencies
- Help create a nurturing, positive and supportive learning environment
- Support staff with strategies and guidance around SEND needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of practice
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Has experience within Early Years and SEND support
- Holds relevant SENCO training or is willing to complete this within the first few months of employment
- Is organised, proactive and passionate about supporting children and families
- Can confidently work as part of a strong team environment
- Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills
All appointments will be subject to references, enhanced DBS checks and safer recruitment procedures in line with safeguarding requirements.
