Knowledge
- Working knowledge of the development, delivery and measurement of best practice internal communications and its role in enhancing business performance.
- Knowledge of new and emerging internal communications tools, techniques and channels as well as evaluation techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of best practice employee engagement approaches, including survey processes, change management practices, tools and techniques.
- Project management tools and application within corporate communications.
- Knowledge of public affairs, media relations, corporate communications, community engagement, social media and campaigns.
Type of Experience
- Experience at senior management level developing and delivering comprehensive, evidence-based internal communications and engagement strategies and plans aligned with wider business objectives.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes and using change impact analysis to inform appropriate communication approach.
- Experience of developing and delivering engagement campaigns.
- Providing counsel on internal corporate communications and engagement to Executives and senior leaders across large, complex, fast-paced matrix organisations.
- Development, delivery, and measurement of internal communications and resources planning, defining the processes and structures required to achieve success.
- Experience delivering high quality engagement communications to agreed deadlines.
- Experience of designing and writing content for a range of internal communications channels.
