Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Purchasing & Online Sales Manager to oversee product acquisition and digital sales strategy in a dropship model. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting which products to purchase from a single foreign supplier, negotiating terms, and determining the most effective ways to market and sell these products online. This role blends procurement decision-making with e‑commerce strategy, offering an exciting opportunity to directly influence revenue growth and brand positioning.
Duties
- Evaluate and select products from the designated foreign supplier based on market demand, profitability, and brand alignment.
- Negotiate purchase terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure advantageous agreements.
- Develop online sales strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth dropship fulfillment and timely customer delivery.
- Monitor online sales performance, inventory availability, and customer feedback to refine product offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling product listings, digital campaigns, and SEO‑optimized content.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase decisions, supplier agreements, and sales performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, international trade regulations, and e‑commerce standards.
- Continuously analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, e‑commerce, or online retail management.
- Strong understanding of dropship workflows, international supplier relations, and online sales channels.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable purchase terms.
- Knowledge of e‑commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento) and online sales optimisation.
- Ability to analyse digital sales data and apply insights to product selection and marketing strategy.
- Organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, marketing teams, and senior management.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, supply chain management, or digital commerce are desirable.
Pay: £29,467.14-£59,563.96 per year
