Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support and assistance to an individual GUJARATI Lady who is 87 years old suffering from middle stage alzheimer's disease in a private home where she lives with her son’s family.
We already full time day time carer, but the lady who provided evening care is now leaving.
Duties
It is anticipated that personal care is needed just prior to bed time for one hour daily.
However all personal care aspects may be required depending on the circumstance and includes the following:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medication following prescribed care plans and medical terminology guidelines
- Support clients with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Document care activities accurately in case management systems and update care plans regularly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in nursing home, home care, or care home environments preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, and hospice care best practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong organisational skills for managing care plans and case management documentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to speak Gujarati will be beneficial to provide compassionate patient care
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients

Pay: £13.00-£91.00 per week
