Part-Time School Cleaner
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Working pattern: 15 hours per week, term time only
Pay: National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage applicable to age
Employment type: Part-time, PAYE employed position

ST Extreme Cleaning Ltd is seeking a reliable and conscientious School Cleaner to join our team at a friendly school in Brentwood.
The school is approximately a 20-minute walk from Brentwood station.
The successful applicant will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff. You will generally work independently, although other cleaning and school staff will be present elsewhere on the premises.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and washrooms
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
- Cleaning desks, surfaces and frequently touched areas
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Replenishing washroom and cleaning supplies
- Following the school’s cleaning, hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Takes pride in completing work to a high standard
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work independently and follow instructions
- Is able to carry out the practical duties of the role
- Is comfortable working within a school environment
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but is not essential.
An Enhanced DBS check is required. Assistance with arranging the check can be provided if necessary.
This is a PAYE employed position and is not a self-employed or subcontractor role. The position is term time only, with no work required during the school holidays.
