Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our hospitality services.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas of the room meet cleanliness standards and hotel policies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Follow proper procedures for handling guest belongings and privacy protocols
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courteous communication with guests and team members
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background preferred
- Strong janitorial skills with attention to detail and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
Pay: £12.71 per hour
