Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Garden Maintenance Supervisor to join our highly experienced team . The successful candidate will oversee daily garden maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of horticultural care and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your gardening expertise, manage a team, and contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces. The position involves supervising routine tasks, coordinating projects, and maintaining the overall health and appearance of various gardens both residential and comm ercial.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate garden maintenance activities, including pruning, planting, mowing, and fertilising.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on horticultural best practices.
- Monitor plant growth and health, recommending appropriate treatments or interventions.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and report to head office
- Maintain organised schedules for routine maintenance tasks and special projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in garden maintenance.
- Driving License.
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, and plant care.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.
- Ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or landscape management are desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor environments.
