Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Complaints Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer complaints efficiently and courteously, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves handling sensitive issues with empathy, providing clear communication, and offering solutions to resolve concerns promptly. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse situations critically. Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints via phone, email, or live chat.
- Record complaint details accurately using data entry systems while maintaining confidentiality.
- Analyse customer issues to identify root causes and suggest appropriate resolutions.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Upsell relevant products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer experience and business growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Follow up with customers post-resolution to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain organised records of all interactions for reporting purposes and quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or complaint handling roles is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Analytical skills to assess situations critically and identify effective solutions.
- Experience in upselling products or services is a plus but not essential.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating patience and empathy when dealing with dissatisfied customers.

Pay: £24,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
