E&J Douglas & Sons are looking for an organised and motivated Plant Machinery & Road Sweeper Coordinator to join our busy operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating the daily movements of road sweepers and plant machinery.
- Organising work schedules and allocating jobs to operators and drivers.
- Liaising with customers to ensure work is completed on time.
- Organising low loaders for the transportation of plant and machinery.
- Monitoring fuel usage and ensuring accurate fuel records are maintained.
- Coordinating vehicle and plant availability to maximise productivity.
- Maintaining clear communication with drivers, operators, and office staff.
- Assisting with daily operational planning and problem-solving.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in plant hire, road sweepers, haulage, or construction operations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills and experience using scheduling or transport software would be an advantage.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
