The Role
As part of the team, you will be involved in a varied and hands-on role, including:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Completing bookkeeping
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting MTD filing
- Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and building strong working relationships
- Working closely with Director across a varied client portfolio
- You will gain exposure to a broad range of clients and industries, helping you further develop both your technical skills and confidence in a client-facing role.
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment
- AAT qualified or qualified through relevant practical experience
- Experience preparing accounts and working with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning and developing
- The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively to the team
