Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Manage sales administration processes, including processing orders and updating customer records using CRM software.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate data records, generate reports, and analyse sales trends.
- Coordinate with sales teams to schedule meetings, prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, and support client communications.
- Use Microsoft Word and Outlook for correspondence, scheduling, and documentation purposes.
- Assist with customer service enquiries promptly and professionally via email or phone.
- Support the implementation of IT systems such as Sage200 for financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Organise and maintain filing systems both digitally and physically to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow across the organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales administration or similar administrative roles.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using CRM software and Sage200 is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated customer service experience with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new software systems.
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines consistently.
