Job Overview
Fit-Lock Systems Ltd is looking for a reliable and practical Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our team.
This is mainly a warehouse-based role, with some driving required to deliver customer orders using a company van. The role involves picking, packing, checking orders, goods-in, loading and unloading, general warehouse duties, and supporting the wide team as required.
When driving, you will be responsible for safely delivering fasteners and fixings to customers premises while representing the company in a professional manner.
Main Duties
- Picking, packing and checking customer orders.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Goods-in and general warehouse duties.
- Heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Delivering orders to customer premises using a company vehicle.
- Completing delivery paperwork where required.
- Maintaining the company vehicle, including basic daily/weekly checks.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Supporting colleagues and management as required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous Warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
- FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual and will to work as part of a small team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Professional and polite when dealing with customers.
- Must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Be over 25 for vehicle insurance
Working Hours
Monday-Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm (we would need some flexibility when colleagues are on holiday etc)
Salary
Competitive depending on experience

Pay: £12.80-£14.00 per hour
