Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Care Assistant working the Twilight Shift (16 hours per week), providing compassionate support to residents during evening hours. In this role, you will assist individuals with their daily needs, promote independence and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor residents’ health status by observing vital signs and overall well-being, reporting any concerns promptly
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to hygiene standards
- Operate equipment such as hoists safely to prevent injury during transfers
- Document care activities accurately in care plans and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each resident’s needs
Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential.
