Agricultural Engineer

G Richardson Agri Ltd is recruiting an Agricultural Engineer to join our growing family-run business.
We are suppliers of NC, Major, Opico, Shelbourne Reynolds, McHale, Walter Watson, Marshall, Slurryquip and Bobman equipment, and our engineers play a key role in supporting the sales team with technical expertise. We also specialise in the servicing and repair of New Holland and Kramer machinery.
This role covers Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire, with work carried out both in our Arclid workshop and on customer farms.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on a wide range of agricultural machinery, tractors and loadalls
- Work independently both in the workshop and on-farm
- Safely prepare and complete PDI’s on new machines prior to delivery
- Manage daily workloads effectively while working alongside other team members
- Provide a professional, courteous service to customers on and off-farm
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified by experience or holding relevant agricultural engineering qualifications
- Strong understanding of the agricultural industry
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Time-efficient and customer-focused
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence
- Owns and maintains their own toolkit
