Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Pot Washer/Server to join our team. This is a varied role that combines kitchen cleanliness with front-of-house customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy café environment and being part of a team. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Kitchen Duties
- Responsible for washing, sanitising, and organising all pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Keeping the kitchen wash-up area clean, organised, and hygienic
- Support the kitchen team with additional tasks during busy periods, including organising supplies and stock replenishment
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times and ensure hygiene standards are upheld
Front of House Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
Skills
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety procedures and hygiene standards is beneficial
