Our Hotel guests deserve the same love at 3am as they get at 3pm. As our Night Guardian (officially, our Dog Night Carer), you're the calm, watchful presence who keeps our overnight guests safe, settled, and happy while London sleeps.
We're a fast-growing team redefining urban dog care from our club inside Westfield London, and we live by care, honesty, transparency, community, and passion. If you're reliable, friendly, and properly dog-obsessed, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising and caring for dogs throughout the night
- Providing mental and physical stimulation during waking hours
- Monitoring and understanding dog behaviours, ensuring their wellbeing
- Feeding dogs and administering medication to each client's instructions
- Keeping the Hotel, Social Club, indoor spaces, and open-air terrace clean and ready
- Chatting with clients at drop-off and pick-up
- Coordinating with the team for smooth handovers and consistent care
What we're looking for
- Comfortable and confident around dogs, with good breed knowledge
- Clear communication and a friendly, presentable manner
- Super reliable and punctual, and available to work weekends
- Flexible to pick up extra nights when needed, covering holidays and illness
- 2+ years' experience in dog care (preferred)
- Level 2 or 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare (preferred)
- A positive, proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- The right to work in the UK
- Able to provide references (we'll request these before any job offer)
Hours and pay
Part-time on a 24-hour contract: a minimum of two 12-hour night shifts per week, 8pm to 8am. Pay is £10.85 to £12.71 per hour, in line with the National Minimum Wage.
