At Redmount Residential Home, we are looking for a compassionate, caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time day shift basis.

About the role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide physical and emotional support to residents, helping them maintain their individuality, dignity, privacy, and independence. You will work as part of the wider team to deliver high standards of person-centered care and help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.
What you will be doing
✓ Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and continence care.
✓ Helping residents with eating, drinking and maintaining good nutrition and hydration.
✓ Supporting safe mobility, repositioning, transferring and use of equipment such as hoists where required.
✓ Encouraging residents to maintain independence, choice, personal identity and links with interests, faith, family and community.
✓ Taking part in activities, entertainment and outings arranged by the home.
✓ Observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s physical or emotional wellbeing to the senior person in charge.
✓ Completing care notes and supporting care planning as directed.
✓ Following health and safety, fire, confidentiality, GDPR and safeguarding expectations at all times.
✓ Working positively with colleagues and attending training, handovers, meetings and supervision as required.

You do not need previous care experience to succeed in this role. What matters most is your attitude, values, and commitment to delivering kind, respectful care.
