About Us
Kingsway Surgery is a two-site practice with a current population of nearly 11,020 patients. The practice has an experienced medical team comprising of 3 GP partners, 6 GP’s and a wide range of other clinical staff including pharmacists and Physiotherapists. Our nursing team work collaboratively and consist of 1 lead practice Nurse, 2 Practice nurses, 1 HCA and a Phlebotomist. All supported by a highly effective and experienced management and administration team.
We are an integral part of the North Blaby Primary Care Network. Through this participation, our patients can access additional services, including musculoskeletal practitioners, health and wellbeing coaches, and social prescribers. We are also a teaching practice affiliated with the University of Leicester, Jubilee Academy and Health Education East Midlands for training of medical students, and GP Registrars.
We are a SystmOne practice which lends itself to a proactive approach with a dynamic team aligned with our practice core values. We are a very supportive training Practice with an excellent team.
JOB TITLE: Administrator
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Managing clinical correspondence, workflow, and coding within patient records (SystmOne experience desirable)
- Processing referrals, prescription queries, and incoming communications
- Providing administrative support to GPs to maximise clinical time
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Liaising with hospitals, community services, pharmacies, and external healthcare providers
- Assisting with recalls, reports, and audits
- Supporting reception and the wider administrative team when required
Desirable:
- Previous experience in General Practice.
- Experience working with SystmOne
- Administrative experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: £12.71-£12.88 per hour
