PREMiClean are looking for a reliable and conscientious cleaner to join our team at a primary school in Burscough, Lancashire.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 4:15pm – 6:30pm
- 2¼ hours per day
- 11.25 hours per week
- £13.00 per hour
Working Year
The position operates across 45 weeks of the year:
- 39 weeks of regular school cleaning
- 6 weeks of additional/deep cleaning during school holiday periods
- 7 weeks with no scheduled cleaning
Deep-cleaning work will take place during designated half-term and end-of-term holiday periods.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms and communal areas
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Emptying bins
- Cleaning desks, surfaces and touchpoints
- Carrying out additional deep-cleaning duties during school holidays
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the school
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Thorough and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable working within a primary school environment
- Able to commit to the Monday–Friday working pattern
Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable, although training will be provided.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
