SIA Security Officer / Concierge (HU5 Area – Beverley Road)
Location: Three residential premises in the HU5 (Beverley Road) area
Pay: National Minimum Wage
Hours: Various shifts available (to be discussed at interview)
We're looking for a reliable, approachable and caring individual to join our team as an SIA Security Officer with a strong concierge and resident support focus.
This is not a traditional security role. You'll be the friendly face of our residential properties, providing reassurance, assistance and a visible presence for residents and visitors across three nearby premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a welcoming and professional concierge service.
- Conducting regular security patrols of the buildings.
- Monitoring access and ensuring only authorised persons enter the premises.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with residents, colleagues and management.
- Accurately reporting incidents, concerns and all significant movement or activity on site.
- Completing incident reports, daily occurrence logs and handover notes to a high standard.
- Offering assistance and support to residents where appropriate.
- Reporting maintenance issues, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Liaising with emergency services and management when required.
- Helping maintain a safe, clean and secure environment.
What We're Looking For
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
- A calm, patient and compassionate approach.
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
- Basic IT skills for reporting.
- Previous concierge, security, care or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
