We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Fostering Manager to lead and oversee our fostering services. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fostering service, ensuring all activities align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, children, families, social workers, and external partners to promote collaboration and positive outcomes.
- Oversee recruitment, assessment, training, supervision, and ongoing support of foster carers to ensure they meet quality standards and are equipped to provide safe and nurturing homes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fostering programs through data analysis, audits, and feedback mechanisms; implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, safeguarding policies, and organizational procedures; prepare for inspections and audits.
- Manage administrative functions including case records, reports, budgets, and staffing schedules with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide leadership in managing team performance through supervision, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in relationship management within social care or fostering services; ability to build trust-based partnerships.
- Strong management skills with previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a social care setting.
- Demonstrable experience in program management—planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating service delivery effectively.
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to handle complex documentation accurately under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies, statutory regulations related to fostering services, and best practices in child protection.
- Relevant management qualification or equivalent professional accreditation in social work or fostering practice is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: £65,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
