Arborist Climber - New Forest - £35,000 + Benefits
The Job:
We are recruiting for an experienced Climber / Arborist to join a growing arboricultural team in the New Forest. This is a hands-on role covering domestic, commercial, and public sector work, including pruning, dismantling, and general tree maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out pruning, sectional dismantling, felling, and crown management
- Undertake aerial tree work safely and efficiently
- Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment and machinery
- Assist with site setup, risk assessments, and traffic management
- Work closely with ground staff to complete tree works safely
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety
The Company:
A growing arboricultural business providing professional tree care and vegetation management services across the New Forest and surrounding areas. The company offers a supportive working environment with ongoing training and development opportunities.
The Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years' arboricultural experience
- Relevant NPTC arboricultural qualifications, ideally up to CS39
- Strong climbing and aerial tree work experience
- Good understanding of arboricultural health & safety
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
- Trailer licence, First Aid, MEWP, woodchipper, or stump grinder experience advantageous
The Package:
- Salary £26,000 - £35,000 DOE

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
