Main Purpose of the Job
To assist the Operations Manager and Quality Assurance Director with their business functions and responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with Health and Safety.
· General business administration.
· Supplier and customer liaison.
· Assist with compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Assist with internal auditing.
· Keeping systems and registers up to date.
· Dealing with customer returns / complaints.
· Dealing with supplier issues / returns.
· Preparing various reports / forms.
· Minute taking for meetings.
· Assist with audit preparation for external auditors.
· Continual improvement activities.
· Assist with Project Management.
· Works service contracts.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Greeting visitors.
Key Tasks Defined
As the Operations & Quality Assurance Administrator, you will work closely with Operations Manager and Quality Assurance Director ensuring the company remain compliant with both internal & external stake holders, taking responsibility for day-to-day administration / compliance tasks as well as taking on longer term projects.
Whilst working in a busy and diverse department, day to day interactions occur with various departments and senior staff throughout the business, alongside customer and supplier interface, making communication key to the success of the business; as such a courteous, positive, autonomous, friendly and can-do attitude is required to make the best of the role.
This is not an exhaustive list, and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties within the Operations and Quality Assurance Department, which may change from time to time to reflect changes in the Company’s approach to a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills and Attributes Required
· IT skills – Microsoft Office & MRP/ERP knowledge would be preferable.
· Logical thinker.
· Ability to organise workloads and prioritise tasks.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· A team player.
· Highly motivated and committed.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to use initiative and work autonomously.
· Report writing skills.
Qualifications or knowledge Required
· Experience of a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
· Experience of working to tight deadlines and working in a high-pressured environment.
· Awareness of customer / supplier requirements.
· IT & office experience.
· Previous administration experience is preferred.
· Qualification in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
