Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customers have a positive experience. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and time management within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain hygiene standards.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, equipment, and seating areas throughout the shift.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred .
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
