Venta Property Services Ltd is a professional commercial cleaning company based in Winchester, currently serving a growing portfolio of local business clients. As we expand, we are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join us on a part-time basis — with genuine scope for more hours and varied work in the future as the business grows.
We're a growing business and this is an early hire — meaning there's real scope for more hours, varied work, and to grow with us as we expand our client base across Winchester and surrounding areas.
The Role
You will be responsible for the full clean of a café premises in central Winchester, carried out on Sunday evenings. The role involves 3 hours of work each Sunday between 18:30 and 21:30, arising 4–5 times per month depending on the calendar month. On occasion, you may be asked to carry out a more thorough deep clean of the premises, for which you will be compensated appropriately.
Typical duties will include:
- Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming all floor areas
- Pulling out fridges
- Standing on a step ladder to reach higher areas
- Being a responsible key holder
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen surfaces, counters, and equipment
- Wiping down tables, chairs, and fixtures throughout the café
- Cleaning toilets and restroom facilities to a high standard
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces (internal)
- Restocking consumables (e.g. soap, paper towels) where provided
- Leaving the premises clean, tidy, and ready to open on Monday morning
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial or professional cleaning (preferred)
- A positive attitude and a genuine pride in the quality of your work
- Reliable and punctual — we need someone we can count on every week
- Ability to work independently and manage your time within the shift
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks
- Driving license (preferred)
- Good communication — you'll be a key part of a small, growing team
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check — this is a requirement of the role
What We Offer
- £13.00 per hour — above the National Living Wage
- Consistent, regular Sunday evening work — 4 or 5 shifts per month
- Paid holiday entitlement in line with your statutory rights (5.6 weeks pro rata)

Requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- DBS check — to be completed prior to or at the start of employment
- Ability to work on Sunday evenings on a consistent basis
- Access to reliable transport to reach central Winchester
