Financial Markets Department covers both trading book and banking book activities for Bank of China London Branch and Bank of China (UK) Limited. As an Associate- Financial Markets Business Support – Mandarin Speaking, you will support the end-to-end management of Financial Markets products and lifecycle processes, including product development, cross-functional coordination, ongoing process optimisation and regular MI reporting. You will also contribute to the engineering and delivery of IT solutions addressing business growth and operational challenges. This is a full time permanent position.
Key responsibilities

Assist in the end-to-end design and management of Central Counterparty (CCP) and London/UK-led products initiatives, including onboarding, process setup, performance tracking and enhancement. Support product managers with materials for strategy and client-focused improvements

Act as the liaison for Trading, Operations, Risk, IT, Compliance, and external stakeholders to facilitate daily operations, follow up on action items, and ensure smooth service delivery for CCP and IBA Gold Auction and other new initiatives

Support the implementation of risk management procedures and monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Assist in executing and documenting risk controls under supervision

Participate in Straight-Through Processing (STP)/automation initiatives to improve efficiency. Support IT Centre (Europe) with UAT, documentation and implementation of system enhancements for clearing and auction workflows

Assist in preparing marketing and training materials and coordinating client/internal presentations. Conduct performance analysis and prepare bilingual MI reports for Head Office and Management. Support business requirements gathering for system upgrades

Requirements

Degree educated in Banking, Finance, Business, or other relevant subject

Demonstrated experience in a support role in Audit, Risk, Accounting or Finance

Knowledge of financial markets products is a plus but not essential

Ability to analyse business automation needs and design practical solutions

Proficiency in programming is a plus
