Overview
We are seeking a versatile and reliable Multi Trade Builder with a Van to join our dynamic team. This role involves carrying out a variety of building, maintenance, and repair tasks across different trades, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, be organised, and comfortable working independently on diverse projects. A valid driving licence and access to a van are essential for this position.
Duties
- Carry out general building, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and decorating tasks as required across multiple sites
- Interpret technical drawings and work plans to complete assigned projects efficiently
- Manage and organise tools and materials needed for each job
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Travel between different locations using the provided van to complete various tasks promptly
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work schedules and progress updates
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or general building maintenance
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to different work environments
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record; access to a reliable van is required
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction and maintenance work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of workmanship
